As I look forward to what the next year brings, excited for the journey ahead. I find myself struggling to enjoy the here and now. I try so hard to just be in the moment, but my mind starts to wander and think of all that's next, and  all the things I need to do before I leave; Preparing for the mission field, praying, researching and purchasing gear, zoom calls with my team, fundraising, praying some more, and some more fundraising. Oh and don't forget the already busyness of everyday life in the middle of it all. At times I feel so overwhelmed with it all, but I am also soo overwhelmed  with the goodness of God and all that He's done in my life in this last year(that's a testimony for another day), and as I prepare for the mission field. I'm learning to find rhythm  in the middle of it all and to take time to just be still and soak in the simple moments of the here and now while the Lord prepares my heart for this next season. Currently I'm soaking up the last of these summer days and getting into the full swing of coaching soccer. I'm also doing a super fun fundraiser over on my Facebook page! Go check it out!

In October I will fly to Georgia for a week and meet with my team for discipleship and training for The World Race. And in less than 5 months we will launch out into the world!  Say what?! The time is flying by! It will be here before I know it! I am just shy of my first fundraising deadline of $5,000 with my ultimate fundraising goal of $18,700! Will you help me get there?! Every dollar counts!

At the end of each blog post I would like to include prayer requests. So here are a few things that id appreciate prayer for:

  1. That God would continue to prepare my heart for this new season.

  1. Prayers for me as I soak up these last few months with my nanny kids, as it is going to be soo soo hard to leave them.

  1. For my team and I as we prepare for the journey ahead.

Blessings to you!
