Launch day is here! Wow! It feels so surreal!
Currently sitting in the Atlanta airport, being reunited with my squad mates! We will be spending the week in Georgia, for a week of training and discipleship before we travel to our first ministry site in Guatemala!
I can’t help but think about what lies ahead, the things I’ll see, the people I’ll meet, the lives impacted for the Kingdom of God. Leading up to leaving, many have asked “Are you nervous yet?” And to be honest I haven’t really been nervous at all. Don’t get me wrong, I may have questioned what I’m doing as I fit my life into my packs. haha. There’s something special about that peace the Lord gives you, His peace that surpasses all understanding, when you’re walking in and doing what you know the Lords called you to. Looking forward the the journey ahead and all that the Lord will do in and through me!
Be on the lookout for a blog post about once a month while I’m on the field!
Prayer requests:
*The health of our squad, that everyone will stay healthy and we will have no more COVID setbacks, as we have some that will be joining us in a few days due to quarantine.
*For my squad as we transition from the comforts of home, to sleeping in tents and traveling around the world for 11 months.
Thanks for following along on my journey!
Steph
Praying for God’s work in you and others
May God bless you throughout your journey and expand His Kingdom!
Thank you!
I love that you talk about HIS peace that passes all understanding. You are definitely walking in that. You are right where you’re supposed to be “for such a time as this”. It is truly exciting to think about all the places you’ll go, all the people you’ll meet and all the ministry you’ll do! Praying for you always. Love you!
