Happy New Year!!

Hoping you had a wonderful Christmas season and happy new year!

1 week from today I will be on my way to Georgia to reunite with my squad and leaders for more training and discipleship and then about 2 weeks from now we will be on our way to Guatemala!

It’s crazy to think that it’s just days away, when back in May when I committed to going launch seemed forever away. I think it’s finally sunk in that I’m actually doing this thing, as I’ve said some super hard ‘see you laters’ this past week and will say more in the coming days.

I’ve packed and repacked my bags and repacked again, and probably will do it again in the coming days as I try and strategize how I’m actually fitting everything in my bag that I will need for the next 11 months and deciding what I can really live without while I’m gone. lol.

When I think about only taking what I can carry on my back on this journey, onto the mission field to share the Good News across the world. I often think about how in Luke 10 where it talks about Jesus sending out the seventy-two before him, carrying nothing, taking nothing extra. Where the “harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few’. Being sent out “as lambs in the midst of wolves.” Trusting the Lord for provision and protection along the way.

As Im just about to embark on this journey I am so incredibly excited for the journey and adventure ahead and all that God will do in and through me as I step out in faith to do this thing!! Thank you soo soo much for your prayers and support thus far. Please continue to pray for my squad and I as we travel to Georgia in the coming days, and onto Guatemala in 2 weeks!
